Located in the foothills of the Adirondacks, in the Valley of Haut-Saint-Laurent, the Circuit du Paysan, offers a trip signalled 194 kilometres which will lead you through the most scenic rural and bucolic Montérégie to the discovery of unique products. The Circuit du Paysan is recognized among the best gourmet routes in the province. Several themes and animations take place there from May to October. The pick your own berries, apples, vineyards, cider, cheese and cured meats, honeys and meads, farming and the production of lavender are the main products. Along the border between the Richelieu River and Lake Saint-François, discover the richness of a heritage built with its architectural gems that are the churches, ancestral houses and old cemeteries. From the South shore of Montreal, its loop route is easily accessible by exit 21 from Highway 15 South to Napierville.
